| Watalys teams up with GSCF | 19/05/2009 |
As part of its plan of action against mortality due to contaminated water - set up early 2009 and expected to continue until 2015 - the GSCF (Groupe de Secours Catastrophe Français) has selected, after careful examination Watalys which allows the production of a sodium hypochlorite (chlorine) solution at very low cost.
The receivers of the devices will be prepared. The GSCF will be conducting a training program for its members soon.
The GSCF receives the support and guidance from the company Bulane, becoming hence partners of our NGO.
Let’s keep in mind that every day 6,000 children die from waterborne diseases, “1.2 billion people lack access to safe drinking water and 2.6 billion lack access to basic conditions of hygiene” .

Bulane has been chosen to work with IMD’s MBA and Executive MBA students in 2009. They were selected from among many worthy competitors based not only on the value of their ideas and quality of their teams, but also on their fit with the learning objectives of our programs.
The objectives of this unique collaboration are:
- To provide hands-on learning experience in entrepreneurship and new ventures for the IMD MBA and EMBA classes
- To provide input and support to early stage companies, to improve their chances of funding, product development and market success.
